The Department of Planning and Development (DPD) will be hosting the last public meeting for the North Branch Industrial Corridor from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, Feb. 21st at UI Labs, 1415 N. Cherry Avenue.
You are strongly encouraged to attend this meeting and express your support for public recreational space. Also if you have not done so, please email your comments on our need for park space to DPD@cityofchicago.org and please copy me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The meeting’s purpose is to review proposed new land use and redevelopment guidelines for the corridor, as well as implementation strategies. The meeting will involve presentations by City staff and consultants with time for comments, questions, and answers.
An RSVP is recommended due to facility requirements. Please click here to register.
After the Feb. 21 meeting, DPD will post the draft land use and development framework on the North Branch section of the department website. Public comments will be accepted for 30 days and incorporated into a final framework to be posted in early spring.
