Alcott Elementary Used Electronics Drive

Please bring your used electronics!  The recycling company erases all computer and cell phone data and will give a certificate to this effect to those who request one.  Also, PLEASE ASK YOUR EMPLOYER to donate used electronics. If they have a lot and it would work best to do a pick-up at their office, please email elainerietz12@gmail.com and she’ll arrange it and ensure any profit gets added to the Alcott drives.

It’s a law that electronics cannot by be recycled in the blue cart system, or along with other household items. They often contain hazardous materials such as lead, mercury and PCBs and need to be disposed of in an environmentally safe way. The Alcott drive is a convenient way to clear out these items, and help the earth and the school!
