Bastille Day 5k/8k Run, Walk, & Block Party

WHEN:
Thursday July 11th, 2013
5:00 PM to 10:00 PM

WHERE:
Peggy Notebart Nature Museum
2430 N Cannon Dr

DESCRIPTION:
The popular mid-summer Chicago event will again be a celebration of all things French as well as that country’s Bastille Day national holiday (officially July 14). In 2012 the run/walk celebrates its 31st anniversary as well as its new home in Lincoln Park which, until 2010, had been in the West Loop.

Following the run/walk, participants will be treated to a free block party with food, refreshments and entertainment at the nearby Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. Proceeds will again benefit Chicago’s Mercy Home for Boys & Girls.
