Spring Cleaning! Household & Electronic Waste Collection

DESCRIPTION:
As part of Earth Week 2013, DePaul’s Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) office will be running its first collection event for certain household hazardous and electronic waste items. The collection is open to the public and completely FREE!

What can I bring?: cleaning products, antifreeze, unused/expired medications, oil-based paints, paint thinners, cooking oils/grease, aerosols, herbicides, insecticides, pesticides, lawn chemicals, pool chemicals, solvents, mercury, CFL bulbs, batteries, and glues/adhesives.

Electronics include: computers & all related parts, flash drives, external hard drives, printers, cables, telephones, stereos, DVD/DVR players, Xbox consoles (only), digital/film/video cameras, cell phones, iPods, iPads, Kindles, microwaves, copiers, fax machines, scanners, projectors, switches, and label printers.
