Dog Registration in Chicago

You can register your dog at any City Clerk office location or online.

By Municipal Code, all dogs four months and older must be registered with the City of Chicago.

Reminder to Dog Owners

Rats eat dog waste. Please clean up after your dog, or you could be ticketed and may receive a fine from $50 to $500.
